Kellie Martin is she is an American actress and filmmaker popularly known for her roles for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the drama about families Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Also, she is known for being the main character in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin's acting journey began when she was just seven when her aunt, a former nanny who cared for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure a spot as a special character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land significant roles both on the small and the large screen. Martin, who is an actor, in addition to a gifted dancer and photographer, has been in the industry for more than twenty years. Her sister, who died from Lupus at the age of 19, led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
