Becki Newton

Becki grew up in Guilford, Connecticut. As a teenager, she started performing in local plays and summer productions of the stock theater. As she studied European History at Penn, she also spent several semesters in Europe. Becki made the move to NYC immediately after graduation in order to pursue Broadway. Following her appearance in many national commercials as well as guest star parts, such as Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), as well as American Dreams (2002), Becki was offered the part of Amanda in Ugly Betty (2006). Her brother Matt Newton is an actor, as is her spouse Chris Diamantopoulos. They're pretty, but not supermodels. This is a good thing because I'm not worrying about the red carpet or work, since I'm not a professional. Still, I'm definitely willing to try new things in the realm of beauty. It can be fun to look glamorous! Preparing for the day is not about being a fussy person. It's more about self-care. You can be a slightly giddy.
